Re: Ford Blue Power
Very nice indeed, any chance of more photos please? I grew up around Ford 6600 and 7600s, I was mad for Ford's Then I went through a Massey Fergy phase and now I only want John Deere. If only Ford were still about thing's could have been so different:-\

Re: Ford Blue Power
Ha ha ha, Yes Gilbert you are right I have seen the green light. Well built, reliable, strong, quiet, excellent to drive and well designed, so no changing now.:-D But I still prefer the old 1970's Ford's over 1970's Deere's. Old tractors a doing better as an investment than pensions are over here;-)

Re: Ford Blue Power
You have a fine example there young man, that I can appreciate and admire. It's more a childhood thing, when you grow up with something you see on a daily basis and all the farms around you have either Ford or MF it is that familiarity that sticks. It is the "I want one of them when I grow up" ideal. I cannot think of one farm that had a John Deere when I was a kid (1970s). However, nowadays it is very different, not many farms don't have John Deere! Since the late 1980s and 90s John Deere are very popular.:-D There are some MF, NH, and Valmet's knocking around but in the main it's John Deere.:-D

Re: Ford Blue Power
I'ts an area thing you would find very little green where i grew up in the UK , Mostly blue with a little taint of red .
But i find canada no different , ALL jd combines have gone now all red and blue is starting to kick out the green for tractors and for big tractors it's all steiger or versatile , Nobody still runs with the green brainwash .:-P
Ran em side by side for years and 7000 could out pull a 3020 -3120 , Short nose , Better weight transfer and top link sensing made the ford a way better tractor .
Althouth i will never sell my 2130 JD so i'm not totaly biast :-D
