Making Hay
Here are some pics of our first cut hay we did last week. Wanted to do dry hay but rains every 2 days so we made some round bale silage.

Getting set up on a second row, using our 3140 to load the wrapper and hauling with the 7420.

Re: Making Hay
Renting a Tubeline automatic wrapper nice machine runs all on its own. Big enough machine ran wrap big square bales. Made about 350 bales in 3 rows. Have to do all our dry hay during second cut.

Re: Making Hay
Very nice photos!

Don't you have problem with the feed of the round baler with thoose big swats? Do you have knifes in your baler? If not I understand the big swats.

Re: Making Hay
Where are you in Ontario, can you send some of that rain out this way. Over the last month we only had half an inch all together.

Re: Making Hay
The rows are big because we put 2 into one before we baled. The baler does not have any knives i have only seen one baler in our area with knives does not seem to be real popular. We are in Northern Ontario, New Liskeard, i heard it was real dry in to south, getting too wet up here not had more then 3 days without rain. Getting alot of problems in the spring wheat and barley.
