Fella Mower
Does anyone know more about this type of mower? It's a
Fella. It must be a mid '70 model with (for its time) a
revolutionary design in variable height adjustment. This is
a 135 cm model, but there also was a 165 cm model. I've
heard that the mowers didn't have a good reputation. Are
there many units sold?
Re: Fella Mower
the thing with these mowers is that they didn't cut the gras
very well, but beat it off, so that the grass would be
injured and wouldn't grow back as quickly.
Re: Fella Mower
I cant say that I ever noticed that Mike. My JF drum mower
does a very tidy job as long as the blades are sharpe. I cut
at 17 kph also.
Re: Fella Mower
Mike, do you mean drum mowers ("trommelmaaiers") in general,
or just the Fella?
Re: Fella Mower
Volgens mij is da nen maaier voor't oud ijzer
Re: Fella Mower
