Re: Sugarcane Harvester
Do you plan them Cameco are manufactured by John Deere us?

Re: Sugarcane Harvester
Cameco used to manufacture equipment for the sugarcane farmers. They used to build harvesters, tractors and some other equipment. Cameco was bought out by Deere & Company back in 1998 I believe.

Some harvesters on my photos definitely could have been manufactured by John Deere.

Re: Sugarcane Harvester
jdeere I believe that they are Cameco, but I am not 100% sure.

The tractors were fenced in. They were likely re-painted or re-built like you mentioned.

Nothing... wow what a lot of machines!! That farm is huge!! imagine that in your photos are more or less the same quantity of sugar cane harvesters than in my entire country (Costa Rica). Keep posting, what´s your real name, your nickname is too big but a great one.
take care.

Re: Sugarcane Harvester
I'm sorry but I'm not OK about the orange tractors.
I think they are made in Miami by Vanguard. The constructor (sell / have sold ?) a range of 4 wheel drive and rigid frame tractors. 146 to 525 hp approximately, sugar cane harvesters and more equipments.

Re: Sugarcane Harvester
GTP I live in South Florida and there is no manufacturer by the name of Vanguard and no tractor mfg in the state of Florida.

Cameco Industries was from Louisiana and not Florida. (see link below)

http://www.deere.com/en_US/rg/infocenter/infoevents/ind_powersource/2004_vol2.pdf

I just saw the website where you took the information from GTP. Vanguard Technologies, LLC. maybe used to be a Cameco distributor who would sell the equipment to South and Central America. There is no such thing as a Vanguard tractor.

They probably also did re-build old Cameco tractors. That is probably why there is a sticker with the Vanguard name on the ROPS of the tractor on the 3rd photo. You have very good eyes. See the link to their website below. You can't believe everything that is on the web.
