Re: CLASSICS
well thats a real wish list isn't it,
you could debate that one for hours and it has probably even started a fight or 2!!!
1. JD3650 SGII, for me top of the pile, still one of the most comfortable and was / still is a very capable machine
2. Ford 4000, how could you not want one of these!?
3. MB Trac 150 the original tool carrier tractor way ahead of it's time.
4. Ford 8340 SLE. still holds it's own, ok ok stay away from the ones with the white roof.
5. Case 5150, always found them reliable with one of the 1st Forwrad / Reverse shuttles, bullet proof, well nearly.

When allsaid and done it's personal preference, what you learn't to drive on (Ford 4000) what you were used to drive. But must say Tas Cowboy must have been out in the Aussie sun too much. He's top 5 are all Masseys, you must love being in the workshop mate! ;-)

Granted the reds had may too many dodgy models (3080 data )but my workshop always seems to be cluttered with green parts " my blue ones are out working" ;-)

Re: CLASSICS
Maybe some of the later models have given some trouble but I ask you how many MF 135 do you see around the place? They were a fantastic tractor in their day :-)
