John Deere 6403
This is hard for me to admit, but I really didn't like the look of this 6403. Photos taken at a John Deere dealer's lot.

Here is the description of the 6003 series I got from Deere & Company's website.

"Priced competitively against other manufacturers’ so-called "value" tractors, 6003 Series Tractors give you more for the dollar. They’re perfect for basic chores, such as mowing or baling, with 98 and 109 engine horsepower. Other features include easy-to-use controls, a clutter-free operator station, and a 9F/3R transmission that can shift speed gears on-the-go."

Re: John Deere 6403
The 6003 series does not look alike the 5020 series; the cab looks the same, but not the rest of the tractor.

I believe that here in the U.S. the 5020 series is the 5025 series, and unfortunately I have no photo right now to show you the difference.

Here is a link to Deere Company's German website, where you can see a photo of a 5020.

Re: John Deere 6403
Tony I agree with you, I don´t like those tractors either. They´re made in the Saltillo, Mexico factory for export to the US, Central America and I think to Africa. Here in Costa Rica are importing 40 to 120 hp tractors from Mexico and Brazil and 125 up from US. Do you have any idea how much those tractos cost?
Here is a link from one of my posts from the JD factory in Mexico.
Regards,
Victor

We have some of them in South Africa. Not too bad and very good prices.
