Looks like this one came off the production line recently.

Again unfortunately from behind the fence.

Re: John Deere 8530
My "field trip" was cut short this afternoon, due to heavy rain. The rain was very much appreciated, since we have been dry for some time.

Since the rainy season started, we have gotten some good precipitations, but we still need a lot more especially over Lake Okeechobee.

The level of the lake is at 9.08 feet as of today, which is about 4 feet below the historical average.

This is a photo of Lake Okeechobee that I took back in February.

Lake Okeechobee is the biggest fresh water lake east of the Mississippi river.

Re: John Deere 8530
Tony, do you know what size are the rear tires? 18.4R42 or 20.8R42 perhaps? too bad your trip ended earlier, but rain is a blessing for crops.
If you keep posting photos I promiss you a rain coat or unbrella.

Victor

Re: John Deere 8530
Victor,

I couldn't tell you what the rear tires size are, sorry. According to Deere & Company’s website the standard rear tires on an 8530 are 18.4R46. See link below.

http://salesmanual.deere.com/sales/salesmanual/en_NA/tractors/2007/feature/wheels_and_tires/8030/8030_understanding_metric_tires.html?sbu=ag&link=prodcat

I was able to take a few more photos. I probably spent about 45 minutes looking at two 9420 disking and I also took a lot of good photos there. One had a 20 feet Rome disk I believe.

Thank you for the offer Victor. You know when it rains here it usually rains very hard and the photos wouldn't be very good.

Look at my post #446032 3th photo, how photos come out in rain/mist/fog.

Re: John Deere 8530
Tony, thank you. Please post the pictures of the 9420´s disking, that would be awesome. In 2002 when I went to FL I saw a JD 9000 tractor plowing with a Rome disk a field for a golf course in a big hotel.
I saw the photo you mentioned and you´re right.
Regards.

Re: John Deere 8530
No problem Victor.

I will post the photos of the two 9420 at some point. For now I believe, I already met my quota.

If you want to see some new photos, I added some new photos to an old thread. It's of a 4650 that I took yesterday. Here is the thread number: 440841
