We got only 75 mm in 12 hours, but we get everyone elses run off too.

These fields under water will be lost?
Here equal me when a flooding happens as this after the water comes out the superficial layer is very hard and the seeds don't get to leave. A lot of times I have to do reverse-planting.

Luciano, if water drains fast enough it will be ok, otherwise I will have redrill worst parts in the spring. Just one of the joys of farming :-D

Still, 3 inches in 12 hours is a fair bit on it's own ;-)

Can it drain off reasonably quickly or will it lie about for a while?

T C, Just depends on the weather, if it rains again or not it doesn't take much to fill them up again.
