Whats that in front there, some sort of sprayer boom?

Re: John Deere 4630
Sprayer boom is correct TC.

There was another tractor parked close to this one with a sprayer hooked on.

Re: John Deere 4630
Passen in our area a lot of tractors are not kept in a shed. So a new paint job is required from time to time.

This is pretty much the standard way duals are attached here in North America for this type of tractor.

Re: John Deere 4630
Tony I´ve read that a tractor with duals like this 4630 can´t do heavy tillage, what do u think of that? It´s strange they didn´t put the dual tires with the rack and pinion system.

Victor

Re: John Deere 4630
You know today some people think that if a tractor isn't 4wd, it wouldn't be suited for heavy tillage work or useful on a farm.

If you ask me 150 hp is enough to do heavy tillage work. Back in the days most of the tractors were 2wd and we used the same type of tillage equipment, a good example is the 6030 that I posted on thread 452408

Nice tractor but lack of 4wd make impossible of using them on soil in my neighbourhood.
