This piece of equipment is used to rip between the rows,it also makes small holes,so the water does not run btween the row to the lowest spot.

The paddle wheels make small holes they hold about a litre.
The crop is pinto beans.

I have seen them used here in potato crops, to good effect, especially in some of the sandier soil types.

This year also I did bean, and I walk aware a little and it do researches about techniques of watering and forms of harvest of the beans. These beans of the photograph are watered as? is for pivot?

Yes these beans are watered with a pivot,now with the smal holes in the ground we try too water haevy and then shut the pivot of for a while,so the soil and the plants can dry,this way we try too prevent mold.
