There was a lot of work to do with 5000 but it was very revvarding:-D I must buy new Ford 5000 stickers on to the hood and 5000 is ready to go! Thank's Roel.

Thanks Bert. I still use my 5000 every day's work. And it pull's my 2,5m tume combi seeder in every spring and autumm. And there is no problems, only little more weight on the front and good old 5000 with 74 hp goes on :-D

Sure are though these old 5000 tractors. Can't think about another tractor to beat it's reliability. My baby has 16000Hrs on the clock and it still runs perfectly! As said in my own thread it's never been overhauled yet, so never dare to think bad about the quality of these machines. Sure there have been repairs in the past but noting big, or it would have to be the hydraulic pump about 15 years ago.
I don't work with it on a daily basis cause i don't have a farm anymore, but i love to help my friends out when in need. Can only tell that my good old Ford still is capable to put in a good days work, and that ain't bad for a 34 year old tractor.
They sure as hell don't make them like that anymore these days.

Yes it's marvelous isn't it. My 5000 had over 12000 h and still working on:-D Great Tractor!
