it has the JD front axle already like the 55 series.
previos 50 series had the ZF.

JDeere do you know why the wheels are setted that wide? Are those its original mirrors? it looks a bit strange to me, but it´s a great tractor.

yea there are the org.ones from those years.
the wheels are set like this to make sure,so you dont drive on the hay swath while cutting.
the fronts are not as wide,but will be changed for next season with diff.rims.
i think i start a new thread while moving with it,there you will see how big the swaths are.

unfortuanly the prev.owner used the FEL w/o the wedges tigthent.
Tony,about the truck,i guess it will be around 300'000 k's
i am not a Ford man,but like this older one a lot better then the newer ones. :-\

If i see right this 4650 it don`t have rear hydraulic 3point hitch? or i`m wrong. It is common in states mid powered tractors to dont have hydraulic 3point hitch?

yes it was,in the western parts of the US and Canada the only have drawn implements.
but now,at least the 8000 series comes with 3 point hitch.
but they dont need it,every thing is pull type.
