Re: Harvest in the 50's
Hi , thanks for the comments. I will try and get some more.
Unfortunatley one of my biggest regrets is that there were
not enough photo's taken during the hundred plus years that
my family had this farm. I guess you take it for granted
sometimes and don't realise that once an era has passed it
is only a memory with no hard copy of what it was like.I did
take these photo's with a digital camera off a slide
projector on my dinning room wall !! Very unprofessional I
know but they seemed to have turned out ok. The slides are
very old and have been around a bit so there is a lot of
scratched ones. I will get to going through them all and
certainly will post any more that are worhty.
Cheers from Down Under
Re: Harvest in the 50's
Digital pictures taken from a projection of a slide onto a
wall?!! That's a new one for me :-) Turned out pretty good
though so can't complain! A typical farmer solution ;-) !

Here in the US you can get slide scanners for under $200
from places like . Not sure about what's
available in Oz. Not that you'd bother if you are getting
this sort of quality with your current method!
