Re: John Deere
Nice pics Tony :-)

Do these tractors belong to contracting party or farmers?

Here in Brazil we have few contracting parties, only in terraplanagen works.

Re: John Deere
Thank you for your comments guys.

Luciano,

I don’t know the people who operate those tractors and equipment, but I am pretty sure that it is operated by an individual farmer.

ACS,

The gate was closed and it is pretty easy to take decent photos from behind the fence at this location. Sometimes you can take photos from to close, which to my eyes doesn’t produce good results.

Thank you Geoff.

Bapman,

The tank is likely used to irrigate the crops, but it must be used for some special irrigation purposes. The tank looks very small to me to do serious irrigation and it sure wouldn’t be very cost effective.

Re: John Deere
Tony is that sugarcane behind the tractors? It looks like there are big farms in FL since they use those big tractors. Have you seen a 9620 in FL, or they´re mostly used on the great plains?

Re: John Deere
Victor,

here is a photo a the sugar cane field, behind the tractors.

I have not seen a 9620 yet, but I am sure that there must me some somewhere in the state. I will have to ask one of the John Deere dealers.

I have been dreaming of a 9520 with triples, that I was told ,was not that far from here. Have yet to find this one.

If you have any photos of a 9620 or a 9620T please post them.

Re: John Deere
Victor,

if you want to see a photo of a 9520, go to Killiam Farm's website. They have a lot of nice photos of John Deere tractors, combines and equipment on their website.

You probably already have visited their website.

http://www.killamfarms.com

Another very interesting website is the one of Frederick Harvesting & Trucking from Kansas.

http://www.frederickharvesting.com/

A lot of beautiful photos on both websites.

Re: John Deere
Tony, thank you very much for the information and photo. That would be awesome if you could find that 9520 with triples. (you have a big enterprise with your fans at FP). Unfortunately
I live in a very small country, the biggest tractors we have are two 9120 (see post #347897) so a 9620 is almost imposible to see here.
Regards,
Victor
