Nice photos Lennart :-)

What is your normal average yield for wheat? Has it been mainly the wet conditions that have affected your crop this year?

Regards,

TC :-)

Re: Harvesting wheat with NH 8060
This photos are taken at the cattle farm. There the soil varies a lot, so we are glad if we get 6 ton/ha, but on this particular field the soil are a bit heavier so I think this 6,5 ton/ha is around average. This medium soils with good drainage are the winners this year - the light soils got set by the draught before midsummer and the heavier soils damaged through the rain in july.

On my home farm we got over 7 ton/ha at the medium soils, but on the heavy clay we only got 4 ton of malt barley/ha, average is near 5,5 ton/ha. We got some farmers with medium soils (light clay) that harvested feed barley with over 7 ton/ha, and that is good!
