Re: Duncan Direct Drill
nice pic's,TC.,

In Australia it is very used the direct planting?
Which is proportion among direct planting and with preparation?
Here in my state in the cultivations of higher lands, the direct planting arrives the more than 90%. In the lands where rice is planted the it arrives less than 6 %.

Re: Duncan Direct Drill
Thanks Luciano ;-)

In some parts, direct drilling is used widely, in other parts not at all. From what I know of the broadacre wheatbelt areas of mainland Aus, I would say that the % would be very high of the amount direct drilled.

This drill in the picture comes from New Zealand & is a great pasture renovation drill, as it can slice through the turf, when sowing new pasture species.
