When i spoke the driver of this strange thing he told me that this machine whas made for remove doggy shit from lawns, it is a big problem in the city`s, thats why they made this machine.

There are 2 machines like this one in Holland, this one in Breda, the other, owned by the same company, in Roermond. Limburg. There are more of doggy shit eaters :-D, but they where build on a fendt 205 V, they worked well, but you sit in this machine better, he told me.

Here you see a better look on the transportation axle, when the gras is on the left of the spindle it goes up, with airstream transportation whit a blower to the box behind the drivers cab.

The driver told me that when the gras whas wett, like in the mornig, or in rain, this system does not work wel. Butt when the gras is dry, its works verry good, cleaning speed is about 5 till 9 Km/U! (in dry conditions)

Boki is made by Kiefer gmbh in Germany, they also made little hydraulic excavators speciality for graveyards. They made this little trucks for gouverment use, its like an tool carrier.

this Bokimöbil is type 1251, powered by a Iveco 4 cylinder diesel, 140 Hp. 4 wheel drive/steering, hydraulic driven (2 gears: work/road)

Nou, ik ben niet verkouden, maar ik rook niks, dat viel alles mee. Ik had ook verwacht dat er een luchtje aan zat, maar het is nog minder dan als ik zelf aan het stalmest verrijden ben!

Thanks for posting ruudje, I must admit that I never considered a machine would be built for such a purpose. I might have to suggest it to my local council ;-)

Re: Bokimöbil doggyshit destroyer
I have seen something similar used for picking up leaves, same principle I guess.

Here our councils have the policy that is the owners responsibility to pickup after their dogs if they make a mess & they can even get fined for not picking it up. Works pretty well as it isnt very nice to be strolling through the park, minding your own business then stepping on a "barker's nest",

Regards,

TC ;-)

Re: Bokimöbil doggyshit destroyer
Thanks for the reactions folks! :-)

Its the same principle as picking up leaves, the machine would be used sometimes in the fall :-\ (Is that the correct word for the seizoen after the summer??) for picking up leaves, but whit a lower speed of the rotor, normal he goes >5000 rpm, whit leaves is 1000 more than enough otherwise the leaves blown away!

In Breda also the policy is that the owner on special lawns can play with the dog, whitout picking up the mess, other places must be clean up the mess in a "doggybag" :-D
