Re: Dronningborg D7500
How does the spring wheat yield Lennart? Is it comparable with spring barley?

Re: Dronningborg D7500
There has been the odd paddock of it grown here in the last few seasons, it has been comparable with spring barley but not as good (by a long way) as winter wheat.

Re: Dronningborg D7500
Compared to winter wheat there is a big difference here to - spring wheat yields 5-6 ton/ha - winter wheat 6-9 ton/ha.

Re: Dronningborg D7500
Yes Lennart, I guess with the extra growing period of the winter cereals, the yield potential is so much greater (I think from memory the potential yield capacity of wheat is 20 tonnes / ha or there abouts).
