*Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
I'm interested in buying new tractor.

I would read opinions of FP users about tractors which have between 90 and 110HP. The price of this tractors should be no more than 15 000 Euro. I'm interested in European machines.

Look about a Fiatagri F100 or a Valmet 8000. Both of him have 100hp it`s about 1994-97 model and cost about 13000-15000 what are think? Have you any experince on that tractors?

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
Fiatagri and Valmet are not common tractors in Poland.

Fiatagri is interesting tractor, but what about consumption of fuel in this tractor?

I know that Valmet is very economical.

I would look for a MF 6160, we have such a tractor, and we are verry satisfied :)

but maybe they are a little bit to expensive?
I don't really know about preces, but they are very fuel economic (for their age)

I think you will be bether with a mf 3095dynashift. it are very good tractors, and they aren't so expensive like a 6160.

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
What about a Deutz-Fahr of the later DX-series? The aircooled engine is very economical;-) I know someone who bought a 6.05 for 10 000 euro's plus tax with 4000 hours.
Not all valmet's are economical with fuel. They had some isues in the past with those Sisu diesels regarding fuel pumps.

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
mf 3095 en mf 6160 are the worst MF tractors ever made. In that hp range i prefer a ford 8240 or something like that.

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
I would take a MF 3095 or 6160 also, realy good tractor's, I wouldn't take a 3085, because they the same as the 3095, only the 3085 doesn't got enough fuel to dilliver the horspower you need from a 100HP, ofcourse you can buy a 3085 and give it some more fuel, than you got also the same horsepower as the 2095, and don't worry about the engine, because the engines in bouth models are the same.

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
Bert you won't find a 6160 of 6170 in an good condition, (no problems with the gearbox or something like that) underneath the 20.000 euro, probably even more. an 3085/95 dynashift would be a better option. but if don't need a 32/32 gear box a 399 would be perfect. good engine, low feul consumption. in that case you wont pay for something you don't need.

@ tim weinig verstand van mf ?

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
Something from the Massey stable & you wont go far wrong IMHO ;-)

Having said that, it might pay you to have a good look around through dealers yards, to see what is around; you may just pick a bargain up :-)

Re: *Which is the best used tractor (90-110HP)?*
I should keep away from old MF 30XX because they are among the first tractors with electro hydraulic, and I don't think they will be as polite as an old workhorse. Mybe a MF 399 will be a good option, but I agrre with Tim that they are cheap in details.

Another alternative is a Valmet 805/905, a Case 956/1056 or a JD 3050/3350/3650. All three know as reliable workhorses who are quite simple so that you can take care of most problems yourself (if you are a bit handy).

Absoluteley I worked for a contractor with 25 masseys and the only good ones were 390t, 698,3120 2000 series and 8000 series the entire 30?0's were a nightmare , Electrics and transmissions and the 6160/6180's were'nt much better but i have to admit the 3120 was one of the best tractors i've had (with dynashift). And most masseys had front axle problems but these wre doing up to 2500 hours a year .I don't know what it was with the MF's but some could be perfect and some were junk .(My friend is a mechanic for massey ) and he will agree ? but he will say 3080 .....bury it now....?

Ford 7810/7840/8340/TW, JD 3650 or case 5150 or MAGNUM were proven performers (and i am no JD lover) , but a 7840 turbo will play with most tractors above it's size (and a 7610 too) .
And do not be put off fords because of pourous engine blocks , We've had probably 30 fords over the years and had 2 go pourous . And although old TW's have been 100% trouble free and if the weight does not matter can be bought quite cheap ?

Fiat 110/90 was ok but nasty to drive , Much more reliable than the F130 .
My only experience with valtra was a T120 and T160 ...Nice to drive but the most unreliable tractors we've ever had ....Hydraulic pumps , Front axles broke up, Cab trim fell apart , Constant engine problems (Electronic) no power and that joy-stick on the arm rest was replaced every 3 months and dealers did'nt know shit about them .

And renault ...well ...:-(

300 series are good but a 390T will work the ass off a 399 (lazy)
