A picture of my brother, a cancer survivor since 2001. His first rice on a farm he bought this year. Very proud moment for him....and his little brother :-D

Re: Case-IH 2188 cutting rice
Luciano, the variety is Wells, usually planted in late April, or early May at about 90lbs/ac. We don't spread manure over rice, but it will recieve about 400lbs/acre of Urea fertilizer. This rice yeilded about 209 bu/ac on his farm. Most rice yeilds in our area will be between 180 to 220 bu/ac depending on variety, soil type, slop on ground, etc. I'm not real up to date on herbicides, but I think it's been sprayed with, Facet, and Quadris. Again, not to sure on the chemicals. Thanks, Dale

Thank you Dale.

I sow the rice in end of October and beginning of November, from 100 to 120 kg of seed for hectare, we used 300 Kg of fertilizer 02-15-30 for hectare in the sowing, more 200 KG of uréia, herbicides Only, Nominee, Ally, Facet, depending on the harmful plants, we also used insecticides and fungicides.
