My God ur 1410 must of been a reck to say something silly like a 5000 MF 165 and jd 2020 make it look under powerd the 1410 would pull the hole backend out of a 5000!There a great puller a real torquey tractor and are very relible as long as the owner takes care of them!We even had our 1410 VQ hooked up to a 2wd 6 cylinder john deere 3140 i think it was and it pulled it!

U are in a dream world mate we have tested all the above tractors against a 995/1210 no comparsin the DB are a far supiorear machine!

Oh yeah and it is mine and im proud to own her along with the other 3 1410s we have and 3 1412s!And that goes for the other David Browns we have in our collection!

Re: David Brown 1410 Highway after cooley world re
We have 50 david browns 10 Fords/fordsons 2 nuffields and many more we are always exporting fords and crystals/ursus we compared an orignal 7000 to a 1410 and there was no comparison the 7000 wasent able to keep up with the DB we had a david brown 880 with no tinwork hooked up to a fully functional fordson super major in a tug a war and the 880 pulled it like it were notting up and down hill.

My uncles use a fleet of David browns and some of them have rediculas ours one 1690 has over 27.000 hours 3 1200s have even more david browns not only are the most relible tractors around but are winners when it comes to traction and power.

if u look around u will see several topics on hear with pics of our machines still not convinced?

Get tractor and machinery issue july 2007 theres an article about our machines in it.

Im going to end this debate now because u are a dreamer through and through neerly every 7000 ive seen are fitted with weights because they are to light there basekly a 5000 is all and are pathetic when put again a DB 1410 oh and if ford are so great why didnt there Amazing selecto speed transmission succed because there pure SHIT! To much wearing parts! David Brown won awards for there hydra shift transmission and its the forrunner to many simaler machines transmissions to day!

A 1594 against a 7710 hhmmm was it a massey with 1594 wrote on it?because a 1594 wouldent have to pull a 7710 because the 7710 would just sit there and spin unless its got cast wheels which many fords john deeres ect.. have but DBs dont need them there just to good!So i leave u to your porous blue scrap!

to talk to some one how says something more sensible than old plonkers.By By
