There you go, I didnt even know there was a 5000 series; I always thought the 4000 series artics were the biggest ones that MF built.

located on highway 133 they sold about 8 or 9 of them

here is the "REAL" thing :-)
shot from june 1993 somewhere along Hwy.# 1 in Saskatchewan.
McConnell 1000 with 390 Detroit or 375 Cummins horses.
this factory has been taken over later by AGCO,as far i know there 4wd is based on this one.

it is to bad it never came to a real mass productian of the 5200 or Mc Connel series.
the sales men for kuhn,s equipment sed they also sold a few
yellow Mc Connell,s and the McConnells had a phone in the cab that was something new in the early ,90,s
