Normal driving speed 7 - 8 km/h. We have some big stones in our fields so it's better with a big plough and to drive a little slower.

Heading back to the farm at the end of the day.

What sort of hp are you other guys out there using on a 4 furrow 16 or 18" inch plogh.

Re: MF 3095 with Kverneland PB
How many hp/furrow are pending on the soil and if u wanna push the tractor to the maximum limit. 20 years ago we had 4x14" furrow (Kyllingstad) behind Ford 5000 and 7000 (70 and 90 hp) 5x16 furrow behind a Ford 8210 (110 hp) that was maximum limit on those tractors 3-4 km/h. And yes extrem tough soil and 12" depth.

Now we have 5 x16-18" behind NH TM 175 and TM 190 and 5+3 16" to a NH TG 285. The speed now is about 8-9 km/h and low rpm--> low fuel consumption. On the TG it is about 8-9 litres/ha.

Your MF looks like it is in great condition what year is it? Is it about 125hp?

Re: MF 3095 with Kverneland PB
Nice pics :-)

I cant believe that tractor will pull a 6 furrow reversible plough. Here I know a guy who works fairly hard with a 3095 to pull a 5 furrow semi mounted KV BB series conventional plough.

Must be light soil

Re: MF 3095 with Kverneland PB
hey Øystein your soil must be verry light for your 3095 with 110hp to pull a 6 furrow KV :-\

is the 3095 turbo

but i must say what a realy nice outfit i love it :-D

we have a 3085 and it used to be the ploughing tractor with a 4 furrow KV

now we use the 6480 if we get it because its my dads tractor he loves it :-D usely the 5465 :-)

Re: MF 3095 with Kverneland PB
In my area because the soil are change dramatically in a few hundreds meters from sand to heavy clay we need minimum 25 hp per 14" furrow in 20-25 cm depth... But still your plough seems to me big for your tractors. What do you feed this MF, Red Bull???:-D

nice pics

we have got a 3095 too and we have a 3 furrow and its pretty hard for the tractor to pull it, but our soil is very hard, heavy clay
we are living in the "Flevopolder" in "Zeewolde" and we have got one of the hardest type of soil in this area

Re: MF 3095 with Kverneland PB
Thanks for all the coments:-)

The 3095 is from 1995, bought it second hand in 97 had only 400 hours on the clock. Dyno tested it a month ago gave 83 kw on the pto, standard is 73,5 kw, no turbo.
