Valtra Ploughing
Here is my Valtra T190 with our Överum plough. It`s a strong and heavy plough, almost to heavy for the not so heavy Valtra, so we have to have o big frontweight, 1200kilos. But since the bought the weight, the plough and tractor runs great together.

The field im ploughing is a old sugar beet field. It`s olmost always wet when you plough after beets, but this year its dry, and frosen on the nights, so it`s really dry, and hard. But the result is great after the plough..

One morning when i moved the T190 the water started dripping underneath, the radiator was broken.. Vibrations from the engine maked the radiator started to crack..

Re: Valtra Ploughing
hey Christian, nice pics!
I also drive on a valtra regularly. I've ploughed a couple of days with our valtra T160, with 5-shared Aerts plough. also added wheel weights and quite heavy load at the front, but not as much as 1200 kg, i think.

How many hours had this one worked when the radiator was broken?

Then our radiator was not the first one broken. Ours (T170) had the seam at the top of the core cracked open. This at only 2000 hours.

Nice photos That överum plough is a good one but heavy. We tried one last year but we prefered Kverneland cause off the weight.

Is that Kongskilde seeder 6m wide?

Re: Valtra Ploughing
We have overum and also vogel noot ploughs but the overum is much better. The Valtra tractors are very good for ploughing.

Re: Valtra Ploughing
Hello everyone! Sorry my answers is so slow..
REDMETAL: Our T190 has runned about 2300 hours when the radiator cracked, its a "disease" on the early T series, now we have got a different type of radiator, with rubber on the edges, so it doesent vibrate.

DAMS: Hi. We have snowploughs in the front at the winter, we plough 1/4 of a whole town.. And when its spring we have a kind of collector for stone, don`t know its name. Think broadcaster is its name.. And the valtra`s is light, and strong, so if we put weight on them we can pull heavy machines too..
STARK: Yes, it`s 6 metres wide.. Överum 4606 is its name.. Both fertilizer and seed at the same time..
SZABI: I like the kook of the new KUHN plows, im gonna try them, all the pistons is hidden in the frame../Christian

Re: Valtra Ploughing
I almost forgot, a couple of weeks/year we are baling silage, and at that time we are using the front hitch to carry 200litres Promyr acid with us. You are spraying 2litres/bale, so you have to switch the can every now and then..

Re: Valtra Ploughing
Hi Christian!

Nice pictures, but I feel bad when I see you use Promyr in the baler, the acid shortens the lifetime on belts and bearings a lot, use instead Kofasil, that is more caring for both the machine and yourself, and is more effective in bales due to that some of the Kofasil acts like gas and fill the bale.

Re: Valtra Ploughing
Hello Lennart.
Is that so... Hmm, ive always known that promyr was agressive though.. We have tried Kofasil Ultra one time to a customer, ha had milking cows, milking robot and so on.. He told us that kofasil was not even near Promyr, if you compared the quality of the silage between Kofasil and Promyr. And i remember Kofasil hade something wrong with their production the following year, but after that i havent heard of them. Down here everybody that uses acid uses promyr, but it`s a shit to handle, that i will agree on. We have new belts on now, the baler started to burn a couple of months ago. /Christian
