12 Months
Hi to all fellow Farm Photo Members & visitors to the site. I just realised that I have been a member of this wonderful site for a little over 12 months (last Sunday 21st was my 12 month anniversary as a member).

I have really enjoyed my first 12 months here, despite a few ups & downs from certain parties :-D. However the plusses far outweigh the minuses, having seen so many wonderful photos from all parts of the world & having made some really great acquaintances from many countries throughout the world.

The 12 months that I have been a member has also seen many great site changes instituted by Stu (of his own doing & on the suggestions of other FP members) & I would like to thank him again for helping to keep this site one of the best, if not the best one of its kind on the internet :-)

Thankyou to those members who have offered me their support throughout the 12 months, via comments & messages, it is muchly appreciated & I hope you have found it has been reciprocated :-)

To those who have constantly criticised & been abusive (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) I hope you will wake up to yourselves one day & realise that no matter how hard you try or how hard you wish, I am not leaving & that being nasty to people wont achieve anything, only to make you bitter & twisted & that is no way to enjoy life IMHO ;-)

Maybe Stu should take the anonimity out of the Peer Review process & reviewers have to put their name to their reviews? Might clean up some of the B/S that goes on there dont you think?

I look forward to another great 12 months & wish all other FP members the same. I would also encourage any visitors to the site to sign up & become a member of a fantastic farming site :-)

All the best from down under in Australia,

Regards,

Craig (aka TasCowboy) :-)

Off topic message [-] not farm related

A classic example of why the peer review process SHOULD NOT BE ANONYMOUS! If the idiot that wrote this can put his / her name to it then others could see just how childish & moronic that they are :-\

EDIT; How can it be non farm related? I am a member of this forum & it is farm related. I started this thread so how can it be off topic?

Hy T.C.

from our European view, you are living on a lonely island next to the South Pole. Of course, our European Rome, 1000 km South of me, is as far away from the North Pole. You have reported us ineresting agricultur facts from your part of the world. The only I know before from Tasmania was the imaginary Tasmanian devel and that very fast hydrofoil ferrys are made their.

In the past I was always fighting on this forum for a common language and against garbage like the more Bizons are posted on this page as ever produced or threads like taking a picture of every degree of a circle.

And now to you: It is very fine from you to receive all new visitors on this page and to say "great" to every second picture. For my case I can´t help thinking that most of your answeres are only to get top in the chart.

In this way
best for the next thousand years

Only 1 year TC? It feels like much more ;-)

I don't think anyone else has had such a big impact in such a short period.

Keep 'em coming.

G'day Theo,

The Tasmanian devil is actually a real native wild animal here (look it up on Wikipedia or similar & no, it looks nothing like the Warner Bros cartoon character) & yes they also make fast ferries here (Incat in Hobart). It is strange that Europeans dont know much about Aus, the Dutch discovered it after all. We have a reasonable comprehension of some parts of Europe that we have learnt through history classes at school.

Sorry to dissapoint you Theo but as I have stated on here previously, the amount of posts I make (or any other person makes) does not worry or concern me. I believe it is a positive thing to encourage members, esp new ones who take the time & effort to post pics & comments on the site, hence I try to do this.

I also like to have my say re the B/S that comes out of a certain group of members, nastiness & arrogance aimed at me & other FP members.

Thanks for your comments. I admire someone who can have something to say & have the courage to put their name to it ;-)

Thanks Stu, I shall do my best :-)

Regards,

TC ;-)

PS; To the last negative peer reviewer, why shouldnt a member make a post like this? It is part of the forum. Breaks it up a bit from the photos. Some of the B/S threads I have seen on this site & you have the nerve to criticise me for this? Hipocrite!

Re: 12 Months
Hi TC,

maybe it is part of your Tasmanien friendliness to receive all new visitors on this page and to say "great" to every second picture. For me it is only nuisance. And inspide of all fiendliness, for me it is a fact and I think that others feel equal.

Also political votings are often anonymous mostly than when every one should have a chance to say his mind. On the other side anonymous votes opens doors for those who only whant to give some one a push. :-\

I think your peer review is o.k. He only demonstrate that this thread is not in the range of "to share farmphotos".

Re: 12 Months
Well the easy thing to do Theo if my posts bother you is dont read them.

For me it is a "nuisance" to get constantly abused & peer reviewed for trivial reasons, not to encourage new & existing members of this site.

Cowards hide behind anonymity in my opinion (think back to the gutless wonders who stole my avatar & made bogus / phony parodies of my user name).

If you believe in something so strongly, why not tell others your ideas? Thats the beauty of a democracy, everyone can have their say. Keeping things on a civil level seems to be beyond some people however.

Stu posted a similar type of thread when he reached 1000 posts but I didnt see that copping the same peer reviews :-\

Anyway you are entitled to your opinion, as everyone else is too

Like we say in holland: koop een taart en vier het.
(you seem to know you're way quite well with babelfish, so i don't really feel like translating)

Still funny though to see that you don't seem to get that your the biggest hipocrite of them all.

Hi TC,

Stu titeld you as a "big impact". I think Stu meaned it in a positive way. But you also know that an impact can destroy and change many things. Remember to the end of the dinosaurs 64 millions years ago.

I think go inside you and think over that peer reviews. I think the reasons you will find also in my answers to this thread!

Theo, sorry but I dont need to "go inside myself" & think anything over. Peer reviewing this thread is frivilous, thats what I know. It has been done because I am the author of this thread.

It is fine for others to have these pages & pages of drivel about nothing, in a foreign language, hey who understands what they are saying? However anything the Cowboy has to say, peer review it. Have said it before, they hunt like a pack of wolves. if its not one sniping at your heels, it is another.

Plenty of people on this site enjoy my posts & my comments & their support is greatly appreciated & quite frankly thats what matters to me, enjoying the photos on this site & finding out about farming in different countries all over the globe, thats what this site is all about to me :-)

TC ;-)

Hi TC,

let me make a last answere in this thread: No one will expel you from this page. But you came in like a thunder and see your peer reviews as a sign that you are not the boss on this page!!!!!!

Less is some times more!!!!

Re: 12 Months
I never said I was the boss Theo, not on this thread or any other. I am just a member, like any one else who is a member.

All I made the post for was to reflect on my first 12 months as a member of Farm Photo, I didnt expect to get peer reviewed for it.

PS; New member dewout who left a nasty message above is another bogus / phony member it seems :-\ when will you guys come up with something more imaginitive than this?

Maybe use your real user name, would be a good place to start. Oh sorry, its funny to abuse & ridicule others isnt it? :-\
