Does the corn seem good, how many kilos do you know for hectare or acre?

I wish I have a backyard like yours. How many hectares/acres do you farm?

Re: C-IH Combine
I'm not sure what the corn yield is going to be yet but it is better than expected because we had a dry summer. Thankfully, we did get some rain showers at crucial times. We have about 100 tillable acres. The combine is my neighbor's and they own and rent about 800 acres total.

Yes indeed, a nice backyard you have. Is it always corn in your backyard or do you saw also other crops? And why is there a piece of grass behind the two cornfields.
In our area farmers don't use Case harvesters, they have Case-tractors but the combines are from Claas, New Holland or MF.

Re: C-IH Combine
The grass is a field where hay was harvested from. In our area, to help prevent erosion, we often have grass fields between the other crops. Most often we alternate corn and soybeans each year in the fields too. A few fields are corn every year though.

Re: C-IH Combine
Since you liked my back yard, I thought I'd add a bigger view of our farm.

Re: C-IH Combine
In our area they prevent erosion the same way, but the fields are a lot smaller. So the grassfields are very little. Sometimes they use also fieldflowers to prevent erosion.
