Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
Die motorkap lijkt me wel wat erg groot, volgens mij zie je aan die kant niet zoveel vanuit de cabine.
Hoe hoog, en hoe veel kan hij heffen?

Nice machine, with variable transmission. but it's top speed of 35km/hours is not realy fast:-[

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
(Robin) It's got a variable transmission in it?? Interesting.. I didn't think those could be found in the tele's yet. The way it handles at that 35kph is crucial though... I wouldn't want to take the New Holland TS-A up to 62kph, but I took the Fendt 933 to it without a moment's hesitation.

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
Dear Robin, I know that 35 Kpm are a slow speed, but a telehander is normally used in the farm and not to make a rece speed!:-P

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
@Josh A, The new claas got a variable transmission too. they say it would be better for transport, a powrshift with liquid clutch is getting too hot. i am wondering why fendt used this clutch till half way '90's if that is true.
@apezzi79, you are right about that, but the variable transmission is special for transporting carriers with hay and straw, and for transport is every km/hour welcome, till a bit above 40 km/hour

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
It has a hydro transmission it's exactly the same machine as the compact at the bottom of this http://www.jlgeurope.com/en/products_and_accessories/telescopic_material_handlers.htm List.

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
It's not a variable trasmission, but hydrostatic with 2 speed range, the advantage if compared with a torque converter is due to the less complicated transission and to the quicker working cycle!!

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
What do you mean by hydrostatic? like a combine and spfh? i dont think a transmission like that would pull a big straw carrier

It's exactly the same

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
well, i think we must be happy with our jd telehandler, with powrshift:-) and a top speed a bit above this one:-P

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
Its made by JLG Belgium, in Maasmechelen.
I think variable transmission is a little bit different from hydrostatic transmission... Don't know you oppinions, but hydrostatic is the more rpm, the more km/h... And about 35km/h, our schaffer is according to the brochure also slower then he really is. 37km/h, and we drive much faster with it. so it can be that its the same with the jlg/df.
Driving 40 isn't such a great thing at all with a telehandler, my opinion is to use it for what its made for, meaning loading, and not transporting hay or whatever.

Re: DEUTZ Agrovector 30.7
the biggest thing to look for in a telehandler is the cooling package. Does it have a tranny cooler, hyd oil cooler and engine cooler. Favourable not stacked in behind one another. Other things to watch for are the servicability, the plating underneath if it is closed properly or just left open. In this case open can actually be a good thing.
