Late Night Harvest
I drew this in about an hour it's not my best work, but I
still posted it for all of you to see it. It's a John Deere
95 series Combine un-loading into an International Harvester
corn truck.

Re: Late Night Harvest
Mark,
sorry that's the only picture I have on the computer
now. I'm working on a detailed JD 4440 planting w/ a Knize
12 row corn planter on and off when I'm bored, and I have a
detailed picture of a FS grain elevator I drew a few years
ago I'll find that and scan it for you asp. Thanks for your
comments.

Re: Late Night Harvest
Justin,
it took me about an hour to draw that. I was looking
at a 1/64 scale "toy" of the combine and I drew the corn
truck from scretch. I was going to add corn but it kind of
hard to do so w/ out wrecking the picture. Thanks for your
comments.

Re: Late Night Harvest
THAT IS SOME GREAT WORK FOR JUST A HOUR. IF I HAD TO DRAW
THAT IT WOULD TAKE ME BOUT A DAY AND A HALF. GOOD LOOK WITH
THAT 4440 AND THAT KINZIE PLANTER

Re: Late Night Harvest
U must not farm because if u did the way that the combine is
laoding the truck u would tip the truck over. And what the
heck is a corn truck? YOu must mean grain turck. But i
guess you cant help it that the truck is not being loaded
evenly, its that piece of crap john deeere. the auger is
too short, jds are always short one way or another.

Re: Late Night Harvest
yeah,
I was going to draw a longer aurger but it didn't look
too good and I didn't want to rescale the combine and I
couldn't move it closer to the truck b/c the head would hit
the truck , and yes I ment grain truck. To whoever said I
was complaining I aint I just said it wasn't my best work if
you'd like to draw something better in an hour feel free to
do so and post it.

Re: Late Night Harvest
In Wisconsin our crops are doing pretty well, we already
have our 2nd crop of alfalfa harvested, our corn is like 4ft
high already. In other parts of the midwest there was a
whole front of storms for a week that dumped rain so theres
a lot of flooding going on so that can't be too good for the
farmers.

Re: Late Night Harvest
It might have something to do with the fact that I'm an
agronomist and not a programmer ;-)

Re: Late Night Harvest
yeah,
it's cool though being an agronomist is probabaly more
useful then a programer.

Re: Late Night Harvest
Here in south central Minesota we have had the right amount
of rain falls and great growing conditions. The corn is 7
feet tall and only a few days away from tasseling. The
soybeens have already canopied. We have been very fortunate
weather wise here. Hope everyone gets a good crop.
