I wonder how they manage to control diseases like PRRS and other highly contaigious diseases.

Nou nou ik heb al veel vormen van transport gezien, maar dit is wel wat dieronvriendelijk. Er kan veel, maar ergens is een grens

you got a good point there lennart. allso animal cruelty. we cant even think about handeling animals that way. and there it is very normal. there should be some boundaries world wide for animal treatment. this pictures proofs again that tis is a strange world... so close. but so far

I guess things like biosecurity & animal welfare dont rate too highly in places like this.

It is also farming, but at another level than in Australia or (Western) Europe or USA.

Joop, thats why farmers here get upset when products such as pork for example are imported from these countries & sold cheaply on the loca market. when our local farmers here have to comply with strict animal welfare standards, whcih make production more expensive.

Hardly seems fair.
