Re: NEW VALTRA M-Series !
Maybe it's powerful, but 147 hp from a four pot cant be a
strong engine...

Re: NEW VALTRA M-Series !
I think the problems will come faster with an 4cil than with
a 6cil

Re: NEW VALTRA M-Series !
A 6 cyl. should normally be more reliable than a 4 cyl with
much Hp. But Valmet have long experience with high output 4
cyl engines. They made Valmet 1203 in 1981 or 1982 with a
bit over 4 litre 4 cyl. engine with compressor with over 120
Hp DIN. (They say that the sound of this tractor was awsome)

Re: NEW VALTRA M-Series !
By the way: Valmet pulled out a bit over 70 Hp DIN from 3,3
litre 3 cyl. Turbo in Valmet 605, too. Many said that these
engines couldn`t last, but they really did. I know many of
these tractors that have really been beaten in hard work,
but the engines still hold. The only engine Valmet have made
who is just crap is the 2,7 litre 3 cyl. turbo in Valmet
405. Believe me, nothing but trouble :-\

Now Sisu diesel has released their newest creation. A 49CTA
engine meaning 4.9 litre 4 pod with commonrail technology
and turbo intercooled running at up to 170 HP!
