Leveler detail
A closer look at the leveling system on a Case-IH 1470.
The radius arms pivot back where they meet the combine
subframe. The radius arms are linked to the main axle with
the "dogbone" link ... the tires stay vertical for best
stability & traction. The hydraulic rams that move the
main axle are just out of sight inboard in this shot. The
platform cables (one per side) attached to the main axle
tilts the platform to follow the terrain as the separator
levels. Telescoping drive lines transmit power from the
transmission to radius arm mounted final drives. The
leveling is fully automatic, electric over hydraulic with
a manual override that keeps the separator level on slopes
up to 48%

post it during combining!!!!

Re: Leveler detail
Accord with Theo, your pictures are excellents.
In Brazil, we don't know hill-side combine technology.

Thanks again,
