Re: Our 8240
Hi Adam!

I got a 94 Ford 8340, done about 7200 hours, with now
problems, I just love:-P it, what about yours?

Re: Our 8240
Hey JH,

We have a 1995 Ford 7840. In the beginning we had lots of
problems with the fuelpump. But now we are satified with the
tractor. It has lots of power in it (also lotsssssss of
smoke :-D)

Re: Our 8240
I love our 8240, I would'nt get rid of it for anything. I
think the powerstar's are some of the best looking and laid
out tractors ever built. It has 4500 hrs on it and the only
problem's we've had with it have been the seals in the front
axle going every few years, our swing arm haybine makes the
hydralics leak internally (we have alot of big hills that
put alot of stress on things), and it needs a tune-up,
paint, and some new tires.
Re: Our 8240
Hey Adam!

Our 8340 also need som paintwork, esp. on the bonnet. One
small anyoning thing too, is that the tractor going up and
down in engine rpm. when not used and around 700-900 rpm
(hope you get me right - sorry for my bad english)
We once had an 96 NH 8340, we traded it for an TM165 back
in 2000, and I must honest to say that sometimes I wish I
dident do that trading :-(
