Re: ursus 1224
Great photo!

In what kind of class is this tractor pulling?
And what are the restrictions and rules for that class?

In Holland, we only have the high rev biturbo 2WD's or the
standard farm tractors, but no standard tractors with that
much smoke.

Re: ursus 1224
Hi renze!

We have the farmi-class where this Ursus drives.
in farmi-class demands is next: minimum manufacturing amount
is 150 tractors. You can have one turbo, one injection pump
and original intake manifold and exhaust manifold. Max 3000
rpm. You have to got the sheet metals if them are standard
equipment. Exhaust pipe max diameter 100mm. You have to
remove the loaders and blades from tractor. You have to got
a emergency stop which they can use from the wagon. Weight
classes are 2500, 3500, 6000 and 8500 kg, you can compete in
two classes if you add extra weights. There is also Super
farmi-class with different rules max weight in this class
(with ballast and operator) is 3500kg. This Ursus have
competed in 6000 and 8000(changed later to 8500) classes.
I hope you understand my explantions :-[

Re: ursus 1224
Hi Janne,

Thanks for explaining.
I wish whe had this class in The Netherlands too !! This is
much more fun than the ones with jet engines, or the ones
which are totally changed and stripped.

By the way: Ursus doesn't build any engines. They buy them
from ZTS.
