Re: Crops Flowering
Hi Stuart,
Nice pictures.
About Lupin crop, do you use lupin to cover crop or for
seed/grain market?
In Brazil, lupins was introduced to cover crop only, but the
collethotrichum disease have make strong decrease in country
crop area.

Re: Crops Flowering
Hi Flavio
Lupins are grown here in Australia for grain (Stock feed)
I have had some success with them but also alot of failures,
Anthacnose (Collectotrichum) is in this country but has not
been seen in our area to date. We do have problems with root
rots and Brown leaf spot, We grow them mainly for a legume
break crop for our low PH soils they are good for adding
nitrogen. After harvest the stubble residues provide
excellent protien feed for grazing, fattening lambs
