My 2388 and 2188 ready for another day of rice harvest in
East central Arkansas. This pic was taken on Sept. 10, 2003.
Re: 2388 and 2188
Great pic. Would to see stripper working up close. No one
here around Stuttgart has one that I know.
Re: 2388 and 2188

I'm about 25 miles east of you near Holly Grove. I don't
know why the stripper heads haven't caught on in the
Stuttgart area. Quite a few farmers have them around here.
Re: 2388 and 2188
There are several stripper headers used around Fairoaks and
Wynne. I've seen them from the road when I travel up that
way for work.
Are you about finished with rice harvest? Slowing down a
little here.Except for Friday, about 290 trucks on Producers
big lot.
Re: 2388 and 2188
We've cut about 1200 acres and have 700 left to go. I figure
in 3 days I'll be up to green rice that got planted at the
end of May.
Re: 2388 and 2188
Stripper headers aare awesome in rice...The only way to go I
rode in a 9600 that was using one. The farmer swaers it the
only way to go...Alot less straw going through the machine!
