Is not superstock, the new BnP is a new class with just the
bonnet and engine from a tractor, the rear axle is truck as
well as the tranny, i believe.

Hi!
You are right about the chassis and the rearend. The chassis
was built in Northwood / Ohio by Brian and Gary Diekman
(been there twice by now and saw the BnP chassis in the
making the last time I was there).
Anyways.. it is still a "super stock" as the rules for the
class will be changed for 2004 - so these so called
"Component Tractors" can run in the super stock competition.
This change was adopted from the US as standard rearends are
potential trouble makers with this kind of horsepower. It's
also cheaper to run a used truck rearend and a fullery style
transmission than milling out the standard housing to then
place the samy style transmission inside it.
