Re: Ford
Claas combines are sold in America for a long time by Ford
in blue. His is a Claas maybe Merkator

Greetings Theo Haslbeck
Re: Ford
I remember the Ford combines, but did not know Claas was
the manufacturer of them, In our area at that time they were
still using small drag type combines. Allis Chambers was the
main one, but a few Ford drag types. Do you know if Claas
made them or who did?
Re: Ford
blue claas in canada
Re: Ford
The Ford pull-type combines were made by Woods Brothers.
Ford sold the Claas combines with the Ford name and blue
color from 1966 to 1979.
Re: Ford
Claas did make pull type combines themself.

The contractor i worked for, still had one on his yard. It
wasn't used for 20 years, but he didn't want to put it to
scrap. His son in law decided to scrap it last year.
Re: Ford
There were some Ford combines that were built by Oliver.
The Ford 611 is one example. Others were build by Claas.
Claas then started selling them in the USA in blue. They
didn't switch to green until the 80s. I've passed their USA
headquarters in Columbus, Indiana many times.
