Re: disc plough2
what are the advantages and disadvantages of a disk plough
compared to a conventional plough?
Re: disc plough2
disk ploughs require less traction, because the difference
in speed of the soil vs. the plough blade is lower, causing
less friction.

Disk ploughs may cover previous crop remains less good than
normal ploughs. (i'm not sure about this)

And: the soil is loosened in waves, the bottom of the disk
is round, and not flat like a normal plough.

I think disk ploughs work fine for farmers who have easy
tilling soil, especially for corn or wheat. When you want to
grow beets or vegetables, you better use a normal plough.
