Dutch farm wedding...
This the MAN silage truck my brother usually drives at the
contracting company.

But this is taken on a special day, it's his wedding.
According to good dutch tradition, co-workers are making a
joke of him, a kind of caricature of him. They were dressed
in just shorts, bare foot and making a lot of noise with
that old F8L413 Deutz.:-D

During the ceremony in the municipal house they let that old
V8 bark loud, making lots of smiling faces from farmers, and
lots of wondering faces of the ones from far away....
Re: Dutch farm wedding...
So thats what the dutch get up to! Looks like a good idea to
me ! :-P

You didnt drive the bride and groom off in it did you ?
Re: Dutch farm wedding...
Heb je nog andere foto's van die MAN?

Re: Dutch farm wedding...
Yes the vehicle was used as the bride-mobile to bring the
couple from the municipal house to the partycenter...
Believe me, the other people needed to drive fast to keep up
with that old Deutz, with the half-automatic tranny, torque
converter with synchronised 6 speed.

The more serious trip (to the church) was done with my
brothers Merdcedes-Benz 300D, which has done over 835.000 km
:-[ when he sold it last autumn. He used two black bumper
stickers to comouflage the rust spots on the back of

I will try to find some more pics of it.

Re: Dutch farm wedding...
Yes, but those Deeres dont make the nice V8 bark as the
Deutz does, and they wont live 835.000 km either !! :-D
