Zetor 12045 Crystal
The first 6-cylinder from Zetor, 1974
This was the world's first tractor with a fully integrated
safety cab mounted on silent blocks, a Zetor patent.

6.8 litre engine, 120 hp.
16F/8R transmission with hi/lo
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
What about the John Deere US 30 series (4230-4630)? they had
a fully integrated cab (sound gard body) since 1973.
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Yes, the JD 30 series was far earlier with a fully
integrated cab mounted on silentblocks - they were
introduced in 1972.

btw, those Zetors look like sh** and are a bucket full of
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Sorry guys, the 12045 was introduced in 1974, but the 8011
was introduced in 1968. And THAT was the first with the
integrated safety cab mounted on silent blocks.....

(the 8011/45 and 12011/45 are built on the same chassis.)

By the way: You guys havent got rid of Cold War east-west
ideas yet??

Then take a look at this:

Deere himself seems to like them.... Now, he just have to
convince YOU...
At least, they will last twice and pull twice than the JD
5000 series.... (even the most fanatic Deeroid cannot deny
that the 5000 series is scrap....)

Greetings, maybe you will see the light some day,

Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Hey Renze,

im not a deeroid, have just read the Book "John Deere
Tractors and Equipment Vol. II 1960 - 1990". Was just
wondering that you said Zetor was the first in 1974.

BTW. We had some JDs at our farm the last 30 years (3020,
3130, 1640, 3350, 6300) and just bought a new 6820 to
replace the 3350). We had some other tractors on demo this
year (NH TM, Case CS/CVX, Fendt). All were good machines.
But the JD was cheapest (of this 4, because the dealer gave
the most for the old one) and the dealer support is far
better the the other 3 - in my area. In other areas the best
dealer support may be with another brand - who knows. I
would newer buy a JD 5000 or even 3000. For the 5000 we have
to wait for the Mannheim build 5020 series and have a look
at them. If i now had to buy a tractor in this hp range i
would take the NH TN.

(hope you understand my bad english)
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
All right, Hendrik.

You are certainly not a Deeroid.
You should indeed wait for the Mannheim 5020 series.
Hope those will be better...

Greetings Renze
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Hey Stu, this is a Zetor, not a Crystal !!!

There is a difference between the brand Crystal, and the
Zetor Crystal series model 8011 to 16045. Please move this
to Zetor.
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Thanks Renze. Shows how much I know.

Hopefully I will soon have an automated way for people to
correct my mistakes...
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Thanks a lot.
Hey, can't you make something to edit posted messages?

On the agmachinery forum, they have an edit function, which
is only accessible for the member that posted the message,
with these member albums here, you already have the login
and password.

I dont know if you do all the ASP programming yourself, and
if you think you are able to make it work that way, but it's
just an idea.

If you will use the suggestions, take it easy, i know how
much time it takes to make webpages, and even more it takes
to program scripts.

Thanks, Renze
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Yes, I can probably do something like this. It might take me
some time however. There are lots of ways I could make this
forum better I think. Unfortunately my real job needs my
attendance sometimes! :-)

Ideas and suggestions are always appreciated...

Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
What is your 'real' job ??
Are you in computer business, or in agriculture?
Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal
Both, you might say...

Re: Zetor 12045 Crystal

I'm in steel construction and machinery construction. (well,
hope to be next year, i still have to spend 2 days a week at
school coming year)

We make special waste recycling machines, provide steel
constructions for designer buildings, and some smaller
projects for others.
