Re: Photo Contest - August 2009

Re: Photo Contest - August 2009 Change in rules: previously the below said the photos had to be taken in July - but I meant August. Fixed now. Sorry! (thanks to John McManigal for catching) It's that time of the month again! Post your August 2009 Photo Contest entries to this thread. There is one new rule - #10 - Photos must be farming related. The monthly winner gets a farmphoto t-shirt. My thought is to compile all the winning photos from the year and to make a 2010 calendar using the photos. It might also be possible to do a "Best of FarmPhoto 2009" coffee table type book using the most popular photos. The Rules 1) The photo must have been taken in August of 2009. 2) Each member may only post one (1) entry. 3) Only Full Members may vote. 4) Full members get one vote. 5) In the event of a tie, my vote decides. 6) Photos *must* have been taken and be owned by the poster. 7) No voting will take place until the month has ended, after which a week-long period will be allowed for voting. 8) Posting members must agree to allow their photos to be used by farmphoto (me) for the purposes described above, and be able to supply their photos at the highest possible resolution, and without watermarks/annotations/etc if required. 9) Non-photo comments are discouraged and must not detract from the photos or attempt to influence voters. 10) Photos must be farming related HINT: Use the tile view or slide view to see all the photos. HINT: Feel free to describe the attributes of your photo that you feel make it a contender for our 'Photo of the Month' Good luck everyone! 0,0,0 Re: Photo Contest - August 2009 Case 4890 working summerfallow ground with a Versatile sweep cultivator in north-west Kansas USA. 0,0,0 Re: Photo Contest - August 2009 John Deere 9770 combine cutting wheat in the Breaks on the Kansas Nebraska line. Just before the cab are conveyor axial rolls that bring the flow of potatoes to the width of the standard Tectron. The tractor was unharmed by the watery experience and was back at work cutting logs a couple of days later. 0,0,0 Loading Message List
