1. where is this picture taken at?
2. do you still use a lot of the small conventional bales in
this area or are they going to the large square or round
bales. Here in S. C. Missouri it is almost impossible to
get anyone to haul the little bales then if you can find
someone who is willing to haul them it is expensive to hire
them. That is why we are all large round bales

Hi Roy
I farm near Liverpool England.I supply local Stables &
horse riding schools with conventional Hay & Straw bales.I
normally make 6000 Hay & 8000 Wheat / Barley straw bales per
year.I also make Round baled Haylage & large baled Straw
& Hay in Claas Quadrant bales.Small bales are easily handled
by individual owners of horses.e.g limited storage space in
stables.Large & round bales are all machine loaded &
unloaded.Very easy. Small bales are very labour intensive.
Hard work .Quality hay demands a premium price in small
