The Rubin is about the best machine that I have seen out of all of these similar disc machines Lewis, in a wide range of conditions. The Lely Multidisc isnt bad but isnt as heavy as the Lemken. The Amazone Catros is also a good machine.

3 metre pottinger terradisc on demo
I haven't seen any lemkin gear up here in queensland.

3 metre amazone catros cleaning up a friend's paddock to plant rhodes grass. We also tried the multidisc but wasn't heavy enough on our heavy black ground. also jamed alot. would be good as secondary tillage. we found the catros did the best job. photo taken a few years ago. we are looking to upgrade this 3m on a 4m folding this season

the same block a week later. the gangs on the vaderstad seem close together compared to the catros. does the carrier throw the dirt much as the catros? how does it go in long straw/grass?

4cjm, the Lemkens have become quite popular here. I have also seen a Terradic & was impressed with it. There are also Lely Multidiscs, Amazone Catros, at least one Vaderstad Carrier + the Heva machines as well.
