Re: Nice machine
it coul be great in row crop working example corn and
potatoes. it turns tighter than 4wd, but new hollands
supersteer system could be great if you need 4wd.

Re: Nice machine

Re: Nice machine
This is a very nice looking tractor. And 2wd tractors are
NOT useless and the tires are NOT too small!

Re: Nice machine
I think most people around the world are making the
transition towards MFWD on all rowcrop tractors. The
benefits of additional traction when you need it, less
strain on the drivelines and less rolling resistance are all
strong reasons to select MFWD. Better resale value is
obviously another, as everyone will soon realize the benfits
of MFWD. There are still a few guys is Missouri that farm on
hillsides who cannot afford the MFWD, which is where I am
guessing this 2WD tractor is destined....

Re: Nice machine
Cannot afford??

let them buy 10% less hp. An MFWD can plough with 2/3 of
weight, fuel, and engine power, the more with four or five
furrow ploughs like tractors of this size tend to be
pulling.

Re: Nice machine
Oh.. Lance:

Sorry if i have accidently hit your bruise.

We have a Zetor 5245, three cylinder 50 hp MFWD. We have
about 18 breeding and sport horses, and 190 sows, we work on
12 hectare of land, one hectare is maize for horse feed.

And we need that MFWD. Or at least a tractor of about 80 hp
in two weight classes higher.

Besides: the contractor i worked for had too many trouble
with those NH's. I stay with Zetor, with the heaviest rear
ends and transmissions in its class.

Re: Nice machine
the zetor is a well-built and nice looking tractor but they

new holland!

Re: Nice machine
Do you really buy a tractor for looks...no, you buy it for
funcunality, not for tire size or anything like that. Al
for having people change into a MFWD if they dont have the
money to enitially buy the tractor than they cant get it to
have the savings. Look at all the contractors, horse
owners, dairy farmers, and hobby farmers that could use
this, how can you say it's useless??? obviously it's not or
else they couldnn't afford to make it because the profits
wouldn't be there.
