First out a JD sprayer towed by a JD 6430.

Next a neighbours Hardi Twin sprayer towed by a JD 6920S with Hydro N-sensor.

Closer look of the Hydro N-sensor. This equipment "meusures" the green mass on the ground and then controls either the fertilizer spreader to achive optimum N amount in cereals and K in potatoes, or the sprayer to optimize for example Reglone when killing potatoes or fungicides in cereals or potatoes. Combined with the GPS you get a map of what you have done.

Nice photos..you know wich I like most.......The N-sensor..it works really great. My friend used it for the first season and it seemed to been working really really well. Not that it lower the amount off fertilizer but it was intresting to see that it was placed on the right spots. The 7000 seems to be a bit to big for that tiny moteska...We had the same size but pulled by the Dexta...

Thanks Stark1, I see that you also spend some time here, hope it's not caused by the same reason as me....

We have hired this farmer a few times with the N-sensor and I can't anything but agree with you.

The 7000 as I assume you like most is the "small" tractor on that farm, it also has a 7710 and a 8240 - a true Ford-man, I have posted pics of them earlier post 413635 and the following 2 pics.

@NRLAD; Maybe your familiar with the Greenseeker system from NTech Industries, which has the similar purpose as the Yara N sensor? Greenseeker is a Multi-Sensor Systems
