Horses in group stable
This is our horse crowd in the open stable.
You can see the feeding fence, made from scrap pipes. We
feed them corn silage at the fence, and feed round bales in
the field.

First we had two vertical beams, but the horses shrubbed
their hairs off, it could take up to two years before the
neck hairs were regrown. The next year we created this fence
with vertical pipes, the lower main beam is made of the legs
of an old scrapped silo, the upper main beam is an old
lantern pole.
