Stretch vision of my D 130 06 A
It looks like a tretch vision of a tractor. the reasen. The clutch is to renew. A expensive affair. But to use one year a leasing tractor is more expensive. So give this oldtimer a few more years in natural environment keeping!

I understand perfectly Theo. This sort of dust gives a black appearance to everything in it's surrounding. Never the less the clutchbell housing looks nice and tidy again. Just hope you guys had good breath protection whilst cleaning it, because most older clutchplates have asbestos particles in them.
Your Deutz is a very lucky tractor to have the pleasure driving in such a beautifull area, and being so wel taken care of.
Welldone Theo!

Hi Bert,

you are true. But my thought to asbestos came fist under the shower.

My mechanican is a perfect guy. All must be cleaned, every thread must be re-cutted and evey contact-area must be made shiny with the scraper. I´m only the odd-job man at this repair and have to do all this perfectionism.

It´s a nice feeling to have a technique who can be repaired by a mechnican. Shurly when you use a tractor not ony 100 but 1000 or more houres a year, than you come to appreciate the newest comfort.

Nice Theo,

We had problems with our DX 3.30 last year. The bearings on the clutch went, and the fingers were worn off. I was astouned how easy the deutz comes apart. Try to rip any other tractor in half and you are working on it for a week, our little deutz came apart in 2 hours. Quality german engineering! Luckly we didnt have to replace the whole clutch like you did. Still I think repairing this clutch was a smart move! Should have lots of life left in that tractor.
