JD 9520 & Simba Drill
JD 9520 & Simba Freeflow Drill taken in Cambridgeshire last
spring while drilling peas, the JD was the first one in the
UK (or maybe anywhere i think) to have tracks fitted and i
can safely say that you didn't even know the drill was
there.

that looks pretty crummy with them tracks on there and the
only reason they got tracks like that is cuz case does.

Re: JD 9520 & Simba Drill
When I was in working in England I read something about this
tractor. I can understand why he wants this system and not
JDs own tracked tractor. Because that one can't pull. I was
working with this 9520T pulling the simba solo but often had
to pull the rippertines out of the ground because the lack
of traction. When one track has less traction because of a
wet spot it goes of course, so to keep it straight you have
to steer, but by doing so you put the drive to the track
wich already has the least traction. Tracks just don't work
on slippery ground unless there's some frontwheels to steer
or the quadtrack system.

Totally agree with you there Bart, i had a JD 8400 on
tracks, any wet hole you came to just let go of the steering
wheel otherwise you would be stuck........

Re: JD 9520 & Simba Drill
Hi I am wondering who makes these track systems and if you can get them in Canada? If anyone knows anything about add on track systems please let me know. My boss is looking at getting a John Deere 9020 series but he wants tracks. He is a John Deere man and would never buy a CASE IH quadtrack. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.
