Did a bit of spreading the week before last, applying urea just before and after our first decent rain this season, we where using two 910t marshall multispreaders pulled by a MX210 and a MX255. in this first picture, just arrived at the farm, waiting to load the spreaders before getting to work

the 210 before the first front hit, the first front dropped a nice 27mil over night. this was my machine after the first rain.

a closer look at the spreader, pretty simple machines, not much to go wrong.

the 255 making a bit of dust, these crops where really in need of a drink at this stage, would of only lasted another week

loading the spreader, this was taken just after the first front hit, we managed to get a 1000 acres that afternoon, the very first clouds of the second front are looming in the sky.

off down the road, typical gravel road in australia, this one is quite a busy gravel road but i didnt pass another vehicle on it

nice winter morning, little bit of dew on the ground made for slow spreading the first hour or two, different truck and front trailer to earlier pictures do to a problem with the trailer. the 255 is under the auger

this chute saves us from having to drop the back trailer off, first time it has been used since it was modified, few problems, but once sorted it work perfectly

bit out of order but anyway. this is the chute again, but before its first run, bit of fencing wire held it in place nicely, not as good as the other truck though.

back at the controls, everything is looking good, the crop is questionable though :P

140 hectares, not bad for a couple of hours work

back on the road for the trip out north, 55 kilometres in an hour and a half, pretty good time

last day for me on the spreader

quite an interesting photo, the bush to the left is Mt Gibson station. this farm is literally on the border of farming and station country in western australia, probably some of the cheapest farm land in W.A because of its lack of rainfall

last one, taken from ontop of my spreader. the divide between stations and farming looking out to the west, this station is no longer a working station because the bush is too thick to run cows or sheep, but is home to some very unique wildflowers, might post some pictures of wildflowers in the area later this year when they are in bloom

Nice photo's Nathan, your gravel roads are better than our tarseal roads!

Its the same over here, our tarseal roads are full of pot holes and poorly maintained
