Grolo,

I agree with you. that German was rude. And, he should post
with his name instead of anonymous.

where are you from?

Re: baling8
Yes, i have. I have some of the nicest models on the cabinet
in my bedroom, the rest i want to save for my children, when
i ever get them. (i'd find a girl first before speaking of
getting married and having children)

The ones on the cabinet are the Britains models, MF 6180
with Kverneland 7 furrow plow, and Valmet 805 with Accord
seed drill, on double rear wheels. When i was thirteen, I
have made a barn, an old dutch "grupstal" out of wood.

I think Britains always had the nicest models, best scale,
and most detailed models. Disadvantage is, that they were
made of plastics, so they easily broke.

I have also made, in school holiday, an earth bucket and
hitch behind my "Mammoet" go-kart. That was a really nice
toy. I dumped earth and debris in holes along roadsides,
while another boy from our neighborhood drove over it to
flat it out and press it on, with his go-kart.
We had lots of fun that summer. That hitch and bucket are
already scrapped. Unfortunately, i dont think i have any
pictures of it.

I live in Dalfsen, the Netherlands. Around a forest, known
as 'de Steernbos'

Greetings, Renze

Re: baling8
engels.

In English:

Grolo and I both speak Dutch. Grolo thinks we can speak
dutch to each other, but i think that's rude to the rest of
the international visitors of this page. I dont like that
those French here are scattering in their native language.
The translation only translates long messages, a sentence of
a few words isn't translated.

Re: baling8
Personally I wish people would post in English - but only
because I like to hear what people have to say (and because
I don't have the multilingual skills a lot of you guys
have).

The translation tool is pretty lame. Hopefully Google will
improve it over time or I will figure out how to use it
better.

I wouldn't be so arrogant as to demand adherence to any one
language. Whatever works for you guys works for me!

Re: baling8
All right, i might have been a little anti-French.
Nothing personal to them, i meant it a little cynical. I
cannot understand them, so, from my perspective, as a
non-french speaking person, they are scattering some
un-understandable words. It was more a kind of
self-ridiculising.
I agree with you on your first two points. That the most
ideal situation would be when everyone wrote English here.
And: I know my English isn't perfect either.

Re: baling8
Hi grolo. First off, all your pics are excellent. And, I
would like to know, are the bales you use boughten, or
homemade? If homemade, what do you use?

Re: baling8
the bales are home made they are made from a pipe and some
tape . Do you also have a collection?

Re: baling8
Actually, I do have a collection. I'm 13 years old but I've
been collecting since 2. I got out of buying farm toys when
I moved into the city but we are planning to move to a farm
again, and I started buying again. For my bales, i went and
bought 2 pieces dowel wood (1 round, 1 square) and cut it
into the right size for bales and painted them. For rounds,
I got about 25-35 and squares, I got about 45. The starting
pieces of wood were about 1 metre (3 Feet) long.
